DALLAS – April 24, 2017— LEO Cyber Security, a cyber security operations and advisory firm, today announced that Andrew Hay has been named as chief technology officer (CTO). He is an expert and thought leader in the development and implementation of data security programs.  Hay spent almost two-decades in a variety of prominent technology roles. As CTO of LEO, Hay will be responsible for the development and delivery of the firm’s comprehensive cyber security, incident response, cloud / devsecops services.

He previously served as the chief information security officer at DataGravity and director of security research at OpenDNS (acquired by Cisco), as well as the director of applied security research and chief evangelist at CloudPassage. With a long history of high-profile security and software engineering positions, Hay was also a faculty member at IANS Research and worked as an analyst with 451 Research and The Honest Analyst, which he founded in 2014.
